Boy's Equipment
Currently, we don't have a specific program for
U6
(typically kindergarteners are included in our U8 program), but in case of a
future U6 program, the only equipment needed is a stick (see the U8 "Field
Stick" requirements below) and gloves. Cleats are also encouraged for field
activity, but not required. No helmet, shoulder pads, or elbow pads needed.

* All boys up to U14 must have play with NOCSAE certified ND200 shoulder
pads. These are new as of two years ago so be sure to check with a coach
before using used shoulder pads (as they may not be the right type).
**
D-Poles are allowed starting in the U10 level, and though they are allowed
to be up to 72", their total length cannot exceed the height of the
individual using the pole.
Important Note About U8/U10 Equipment
For the younger groups, U8 and U10, Most of the pads can be bought as a
kit through online stores like
lax.com
or
lacrossemonkey.com.
Additional, there are hundreds of players who have played
in the area in previous years. Second hand pads are a great option for
the first couple of years. Reach out to [email protected]
if you have questions about this.
